4º ESO WRITING : CHOOSE ONE OF THESE 6 VIDEOS

Write a news report, 150-200 words,  about one of these videos related to animal protection and organise your ideas into paragraphs:

1. Reason for event:  what is the video about and what happened?

2.When and where the event took place and who was there. ( people and animals) . Explain what they did.

3.Describe the result of the event and give your opinion explaining why you chose that video instead of another.

USEFUL EXPRESSIONS AND VERBS:

-Use REPORTED SPEECH : He announced that....,(salto atrás), they admitted that.......,she complained that........,explained that...., mentioned that.....

-It seems that ( parece que..) a dog/ horse.............rescued/ saved/ helped...........

-It looks like ( parece que hubo) there was  an animal.......

-According to the video / news/ reporter/ rescuers......., an animal saved/ escaped/ helped.......a/some..

-Apparently, these animals are being mistreated/ saved/ rescued.....by...... ( passive voice)

-If/unless everybody takes care of......... these animals/ dolphins will /won´t  ........in the future. (conditionals).

Opinion: I like this video because.....I prefer.......

-Conclusion :finally, in my opinion,  I think......

When you write ,you can use everything we have studied : reported speech, conditionals, passive voice, relative clauses,,,you will get more mark. Be original  and very important:
