Writing " Describing a work of art" Jenni 4 eso

                                           Writting:
This work of art “Las Meninas” was painted by Velázquez in 1656. It´s a portrait of the family of Felipe IV.
It belongs to the Spanish school.
This work of art was painting with oil-painting technique on canvas. The artist used dull and cool colours, and three-dimensional.
The picture shows a scene from the Infanta Margarita, daughter of Felipe IV, surrounded by their service or "family" in a room of the Palace of Madrid.
The viewer has the impression that the people in the picture are alive.
There are many people: The Infanta Margarita, the "Meninas" María Agustina Sarmiento and Isabel de Velasco, two court jesters, Mary Bárbola and Nicolasito Pertusato, and a dog. Behind her are talking a “guardadamas”, the owner Marcela de Ulloa, and in the door, the chamberlain Jose Nieto.
The kings, Philip IV and Mariana of Austria, are reflected in the mirror at the back, leading to a space game of extraordinary complexity.
The artist is represented in the picture.
This, is my favorite work of art. I really like it.
I think is very beautiful and so complicated do this. I like the little girl of the center of the picture. I think it show the lives of children, who do not know that surely will become corrupt people like the others.
