The object of this new project about the anglo-saxon world is to help you understand more about the language and the environment of English. We will be using modern methods of communication.

I´m going to write about the fist video, in this video, Charlie, a young chef, is cooking chocolate brownies, too it´s interesant or original when he say the necessaries things or ingredients for make the recipe (in this case, the chocolate brownies), in the video, there are things very difficult to understand, but there are many things that you make sense of them because is a video, and the images help to understand the text when you don´t know the meaning of any word or sentence, it´s the case about some sentences that he says in the final part of the video, but it´s normal that we can´t understand or know all the things that he says in the video, because he is a American person, and he speaks very fast, unless, the video is very entertaining and funny because the chef is moving all the time, and he speaks loudly, really, it´s a video very interesant, because if we see the video, we´ll learn many things in English.

ReplyDeleteIt is interesting how you explained how to do brownis chocolate, although it has taken me much understand what it says, but it seems to me very original as do he and his two friends.
I like this video because it teaches us to do a brawnie of chocolate, the video is made well because it is done by a boy with our age and makes it graceful. It tries it to do very simple, to understand well how it is done. This type of videoes use me as great help to learn English good.

The recipe is simple and the ingredients are commons, food that all we have at home.
I think the guy is great too, he's very funny. The only problem can be that he talks very very quickly but the teacher had adverted us before, so we put more attention. With images all is more easy and we can understand almost everything.
Finally, I have to say I really like this video and I want to try do this recipe!

I think cooking with Charlie is better than the other programme. It is true that it is more difficult than Made in Spain, but Charlie is very happy and funny. He is very young, and it is incredible how a teenager have a good time cooking because this is not usual.
I think if Jose pronounced better, we would learn more about how to say the ingredients in English.
Jose is Spanish. However Charlie is English-speaking and that is better for us, although is more complicated to understand him as he speak so quickly.
I love this topic. I have never spoken about cooking in English, and for me it is very interesting. In my opinion this topic is another way to learn English and have a good time doing it.

He speaks very fast so it is more dificult to understand but the vocabulary is more less easy and how it is a video you can watch what he is doing and you can understand better. The second video is more formal, I understand it better because Joseph does not pronounce so well and so fast as Charlie. The recipe looks wonderful.

The second video is more boring than the firts but I can understand it better because the man is from Spain,I like when he says "Chorizo" because it is very spanish. Is easyer ti understand this, he speaks more slowly than charlie.
